The Hammer U13 Girls Elite Team won the US Youth Soccer Ohio South Presidents Cup May 16th in Columbus, Ohio.  Congratulations to all the girls, coach Erik Larson and trainer Bob Downs for this superb accomplishment!

Hammer FC went to the TFA United Cup this past weekend and took over the place.  In total, we had 5 tournament Champions and 4  Tournament Finalists.   Let’s all congratulate these players, coaches, and families for an outstanding weekend.

The Girls U-15 Elite team went 3-0 including 2 shutouts in Indianapolis on March 20th & 21st with wins over Derby City 4-3 (Louisville) Metro FC 2-0 (Dayton) & Indy Burn 6-0 (Indianapolis) The team plays in the Buckeye Premier League and are coached by Sean Connor.  Go Hammer!

The U13 Boys Premier team started off the season on a strong note by winning the upper division of the United International Cup in Louisville, Ky.  on March 10-11.   The boys played hard and played well as a team.   Passing and communication were the keys in these games.  The team ended the tournament 3-0-1.  After starting the tournament with a tie, the boys came together to win the next three games including an impressive 4-2 win in the Finals.  Congratulations!

All five Hammer FC girls teams that participated in the Music City Bowl in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee returned to Cincinnati as CHAMPIONS!  Congratulations to the U10 Premier Girls, U11 Premier Girls, U12 Premier Girls, U13 Premier Girls and U13 Elite Girls.  WOW!

The U12 Premier Girls team continue to show themselves as one of the top teams in Ohio with an impressive string of wins at the OP Invitational.  The girls went 4-0-0 in the OP Invitational top bracket.  Great Job Ladies!

The U14 Boys Elite participated in the Forest Park STAR Invitational at home in Cincinnati this past weekend.  They battled through 3 tough games in the mud to arrive at a 2-0-1 record through the first round, tying BSA Celtic ‘95 Blue 1-1, and beating Grand Lake United 1-0 and the Fairborn Skyhawks 3-2.  In the finals, they played the Fairborn Skyhawks for a second time at Winton Woods HS and took advantage of the better surface to win the championship 5-1.  Every player on the team contributed in a major way to bring home the championship.

The U11 Girls Elite won their division in the 2009 Fall Ball with a 4-0-0 win.  They had a  total of 17 goals scored for, 5 goals scored against, and two shut-outs; Coach Will help lead the girls to their succes with games scores of 5-4, 3-0, 4-1 and 4-0.  Great team work! 

Congratulations to our U12 ACADEMY GIRLS who reached ’midseason form’ even though half of the team is new to the club and they are still getting to know each other.  The girls are buying into, and executing, a ’ball possession’ style of play and often frustrated their opponents by playing ’keep away’ with them.  The girls scored timely goals, had solid goal keeping and combined it all with a stifling defense which made for a successful weekend.  Congratulations and a great job to the girls and Coach Mike!

U9B Premier goes 4-0 in first tournament of the year, scoring 37 goals and only giving up 5.  Great play by all of the kids.
