Every Spring Hammer FC hosts the adidas Blue Chip College Showcase. Our Showcase has been in existence for approximately 20 years. It is the Premier Soccer Showcase in the Midwest and among the top in the nation.

Clubs from around the country come to play at the adidas Blue Chip Showcase. This year is no different. We have teams participating from all four regions of the country as well as Canada. The level of play is outstanding. We historically have teams ranked in the top 10 in the nation traveling to play in our event. This year is no different. It is truly a spectacular event and in true Hammer fashion, it is executed with excellence.

This year we are planning to get our younger players more involved in the event. We asked our DoCs not to schedule any matches for any of our teams so that our younger players can come and enjoy the event. We want our younger girls teams to participate during the women’s Blue Chip weekend and the younger boys teams to participate in the Men’s Blue Chip weekend. We believe the experience will motivate them to strive for greater soccer excellence.

Hammer FC is very proud of the adidas Blue Chip Showcase. It is truly a great event and we look forward to another outstanding Showcase.

Hammer FC is excited to present a new soccer program that raises the bar for soccer in the greater Cincinnati area; Kings Hammer Academy.

Kings Hammer Academy is a breakthrough partnership that unifies soccer at the highest level in the Tri-State area. It brings together top soccer athletes from two of the area’s best, most recognized and longest-standing clubs in the Tri-State; Kings Soccer Academy and Hammer Futbol Club.

Hammer FC Shows Well in the SBAAC

Hammer FC players represented well in the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference with 6 players being named to the First Team All Stars. Congrats to them for the hard work that earned them this honor.

Neil, Josh and Anthony are current U17 Premier team players, Brandon plays for the U17 Elite. Tim and Ian are former Premier team players. Tim Knauer and Anthony Clark were named Conference Players of the Year for the 2nd consecutive year.

Boys Hammer Head Training: 6 & 7 Year Olds

Curriculum concentrates on fundamentals of the game. Players will gain a basic skill set that will grow with them as they develop. Small-sided matches will be incorporated in each session to maximize player touches on the ball.

Boys U10 Premier – A Perfect Season

The Hammer Boys U10 Premier team finished off first in the top division of CUSL. Posting a 8-0 record with wins over historically tough competition, the team sits alone at the top of the rankings with an exciting 4-2 win over first place challenger CSA. Most of these boys have been training together since U-8 and have formed a strong bond together and with their coaches. Statistically, the boys have an impressive record for their first season in CUSL.

Offense scored an average of 4.75 goals per game. All 10 players scored at least once, including goalie.
Defense allowed 1.75 goals per game. Hammer recorded three shutouts.
After the first game, which Hammer trailed then won, Hammer never trailed again all season.
Besides the first game, after Hammer scored, the game was never tied.

U10 Select Girls Show CUSL What They've Got

The Girls U10 Select team entered CUSL this season and were runners up in their division. This will earn them a promotion next season. Congrats to coach Mull and the team.

U10 Elite Boys Take CUSL by Storm

The U10 Boys Elite team had a terrific first season in CUSL, ending up in first place in the third division. Special thanks to K.C. Ryan and DOC Rashawn Lamar for making the boys' first season in CUSL a success. The players look forward to moving up to the 2nd division and to another fun and rewarding season with K.C. in the spring!

U12 Elite Boys Dominate in CUSL

The U12 elite boys dominated their CUSL division this fall. They went undefeated, had the most goals scored (36) and the least goals against (9). In addition, this team won the Dog Days and Forest Park Invitational tournaments.

Congrats to coach Ryan Handbury, DoC Rashawn Lamar and the boys for a great season.

Hammer FC Joins the Prestigious WPSL

We are pleased to announce that Hammer FC has been accepted to be the Cincinnati representative in the WPSL (Women’s Premier Soccer League). Our inclusion into the prestigious WPSL is a great honor as it recognizes Hammer’s enduring excellence in developing players to their fullest potential.

The WPSL is a 50-plus team national women’s soccer league with five conferences and is considered one of the top five leagues in the world. The league is sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) as an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). The WPSL’s mission is to provide the highest level of soccer in our effort to: bring affordable & quality family entertainment to the community; display positive role models for our youth; while, being a stepping stone for aspiring players to Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS).

The WPSL seeks to have a great variety of teams from across the country that consists of college graduates, current college players as well as foreign and professional players coming back as amateurs to play for their home teams. Hammer was chosen to be the Cincinnati representative and participate in the Midwest region against teams from other premier clubs such as Ohio Premier (Columbus, OH), Carmel United SC (Indianapolis, IN) and FC St. Louis (St. Louis, Mo.)

The relationship with WPSL fits perfectly with Hammer FC’s mission. Hammer FC is a college-preparatory program. All soccer-related decisions are made with the end goal of providing our players with the best possible opportunities at the collegiate level. The WPSL affiliation now allows Hammer FC alumni to continue their development and love for the game by allowing them to prepare for their collegiate seasons while coming home and remaining part of the Hammer organization. The WPSL season runs from May to August. There is a league championship tournament that is held the last weekend of July or first weekend of August.

Buck Lally, in collaboration with Clay Revis, Bob Downs, and Thom Nickley, has spearheaded this new endeavor. Further details will be released soon.
