Every season Hammer FC DoCs take time several months in advance to select tournaments that are going best drive player development across all teams. Tournament level of play is an important criteria in the selection process. Each DoC also takes age into account when selecting tournaments.
In general, the younger the age group, the less the distance traveled to a tournament. As a team gets older and their skills continue to develop, it is sometimes important to travel to tournaments in order to get the best competition and foster player development. Finally, as players move towards and through their high school years, significant travel is required. Hammer seeks to play in the best College Showcases so that our players can be seen by many college coaches. These tournaments will take players all around the country including Texas and Florida.
